Sculptors Guild Field Trip
From Elaine: “I have a ceramic studio and showcase area in the basement of the house and a garage studio where I do my large outdoor work. My garden has several sculptures situated around the pathways. I am presently working on three large cement sculptures that will be shown at the Hammond Museum in North Salem, NY next Spring and Summer. I might have two of them completed by September 22.”
Then we will head to the Laurelwood Sculpture Trail at ~12:30 pm
Feel free to meet us there if you are running late
Laurelwood Sculpture Trail, 725 Pines Lake Drive West, Wayne, New Jersey.
Regarding The Laurelwood Sculpture Trail, curated by Scott Broadfoot of Broadfoot & Broadfoot Gallery. The sculpture trail currently boasts large scale sculptural works including work from Sculptors Guild members, Elaine Lorenz and Micajah Bienvenu.
The Laurelwood Sculpture Trail is a world renowned sculpture park in Wayne, New Jersey. Scott A. Broadfoot was asked to put together this multi-year fundraiser for the Laurelwood Arboretum. All works are available for sale with a portion of the sale going to Laurelwood Arboretum. Scott invites us to take a stroll through this 30 acre park and see how nature and sculpture compliment each other.
We are also hopeful this will be an opportunity for SG Members to meet with Scott Broadfoot and possibly start a relationship for exhibiting. He appears very interested in Guild member works for both the sculpture trail as well as his gallery, local to the trail.
