The Sculptors Guild presents Principle Material, a member exhibition curated by Tina Maneca at MORA, Museum of International Art, in Jersey City. Outdoor work continues in the Paulus Hook Park Sculpture Garden, open around the clock for a year.

Curator Tina Maneca reads the title several ways: principle as ethics, as origin, as rule, and as method; material as the substance an artist shapes. Six threads run through the show: Material as Moral Foundation, Primary Substance, Material that Governs, The Politics of Material, Material vs. Ideal, and Principled Making.
