Abstract-figurative sculptures distill human and natural forms with the simplicity of gesture. Often resembling trees or bird-figures, my work also investigates mythology, images of women, and the meaning of mirrors.

The sculptures range in size from intimate hand-held scale, to interactive installations, to public and monumental. My work has been exhibited nationally in galleries, parks, museums, and educational settings. Honors and awards include a Creativity Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, fellowships from the New York and New Jersey State Arts Councils, and residencies at Yaddo, Skowhegan, and Sculpture Space.
